Wire rope: The newly-created steel wire rope shall be inspected for its certificate of origin and certificate of conformity. Ships and offshore installations are required to have relevant classification society product certificates or other third-party inspection certificates, visual inspections, verification tests. The wire rope in use shall be visually inspected, verified or tested by the instrument.

Shackle: Whether there is obvious deformation, whether the horizontal pin can rotate freely, whether there is crack or European operation, cross-section wear degree, rust and so on. Periodic surface magnetic particle inspection or tensile test at 1.25 times the original certificate or SWL on the body.

Hanging chain: Whether the chain ring is deformed, the wear of each part, whether there are cracks or dents, the opening size increases, and the magnetic ring flaw detection is performed on the chain ring.

Sling: whether there are cuts, perforations, tearing; softening, aging, reduction of elasticity, etc., whether the surface of the fiber is rough, whether there is dead knot, looseness, corrosion, hot melting, whether the warning line is bare, and the tensile test is carried out regularly.

Eye plate: It is necessary to regularly check the certificate of origin and the inspection of surface deformation, wear or other damage according to the requirements of API and LOLER.
